Properly prepared artwork files are required for the production of custom paper boxes, paper bags and other printed paper-based packaging. Below, we have summarised Sz.Variáns’ artwork submission requirements to help ensure a smooth prepress and production process. If overprint is intentionally applied in the artwork, please indicate this when submitting the file

Artwork Approval and Colour Proofing
Before production begins, we prepare a PDF visual proof based on the submitted artwork and send it for approval. For CMYK artwork, a colour proof can also be requested.
Please note that certain substrates and finishing processes may affect the colour appearance of the finished product. Once the visual proof has been approved, we cannot accept responsibility for content-related errors in the submitted artwork.
If you are unsure whether your artwork meets our production requirements, please contact our colleagues before submitting the files.
Proper artwork preparation is an important part of custom packaging production. Correct setup of the die-cutting layout, printing colours, image resolution, bleed and finishing specifications helps ensure that the approved artwork is reproduced correctly during production.
